claudegpt
Claude Code planning, Codex CLI execution, one local workflow
claudegpt is an open-source Claude Code skill that connects Claude Code and OpenAI Codex CLI. Claude plans and reviews, Codex executes in a terminal, and the whole handoff stays local and inspectable.
Hi Product Hunt,
I built claudegpt because I wanted a cleaner way to use Claude Code and Codex CLI together in the same project.
Claude is strong at planning, reviewing and keeping the workflow coherent. Codex CLI is strong at terminal execution and longer implementation runs. claudegpt connects them with a local file-based protocol.
Run /claudegpt "your task" in Claude Code, let Codex execute, then run /claudegpt-resume when it is done.
It is open source, macOS-first, and built for developers already using AI coding agents.
I’d love feedback from people using Claude Code, Codex CLI, or multi-agent coding workflows.
