cl
Save commands, search instantly, run with Enter
Stop digging through shell history looking for that one command you used last month. cl is a tiny personal command launcher that lets you save commands once with a simple name, search them instantly as you type, and run with Enter. Supports parametrized commands with placeholders. Available on GitHub, Homebrew, and all major platforms.
I built cl to solve a simple problem: I kept forgetting commands I use regularly. Now I save them once with a name, search by typing a few letters, and run with Enter.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or why I built it!

Who hunted cl?
cl was hunted by Silvio Pola. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
