CitadelAero is an AI platform and research company helping aviation safety and compliance teams move from reactive, document-heavy work to proactive safety management. Its AI workspace, Chuck, checks manuals against UK CAA, EASA and FAA regulations, analyses safety data for trends and emerging hazards, and drafts risk assessments and compliance documents, with every regulatory answer cited to its source and a person signing off.
The idea for CitadelAero was born through my experiences as a commercial pilot, flight safety officer and safety consultant. As a consultant I worked with safety teams who were every bit as capable as me, but the difference was the time they had. Their week was being spent on paperwork: reading reports, checking documents against ever changing rules, writing risk assessments and meeting packs. My role was really to give them hours back so they could start to look ahead rather than behind. Chuck is one workspace that does that reading, checking and drafting from the current UK, EASA and FAA rules, and shows the source for every answer. Chuck leaves the decision making with the team.
