Cirkl
The social layer for Berlin's nightlife scene
Cirkl aggregates ~360 live events across 30+ Berlin venues into one vibe-filtered feed — then adds the social layer RA and Dice don't have: crew coordination, music taste matching, artist dossiers, and a squad system so you always know who's going.
Hey PH 👋 I’m Davis. I built Cirkl solo over the last 5 months.
The problem I kept running into: Berlin has ~58,000 club events a year. RA gives you lineups. Dice sells you tickets. But nobody tells you who's going, what the vibe will be, or helps you actually coordinate with your crew. You end up in 3 WhatsApp threads and 2 Telegram groups and still show up to the wrong club.
So I built Cirkl — social infrastructure for nightlife. It aggregates events across ~30 Berlin sources (including stuff that never makes RA), lets you filter by vibe, find people with matching music taste, and coordinate as a crew/squad.
The Tech: I built this as a solo project using React/TypeScript/Vite, Supabase (Postgres + Realtime), Capacitor for iOS, and Vercel.
We're Berlin-first right now, live at cirkl.me. App Store is next (Capacitor iOS build is done, just need the developer account). Would love feedback from anyone who goes out in any city — the social + discovery model works anywhere the club scene is fragmented.
Happy to answer anything about the 5-month build, the UX decisions, or the Berlin techno scene itself 🖤

Who hunted Cirkl?
Cirkl was hunted by Davis Karadan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
