I built CinderReels because social media has started to feel too permanent. People overthink posts, worry about old content resurfacing, or avoid sharing altogether because everything feels like it has to live online forever.
I’d had the idea for nearly 10 years, but AI/vibe coding finally lowered the barrier enough for me to turn it into a real product.
CinderReels is my attempt to make posting feel lighter again.
You can share photos, videos, text posts, group (public, private and hidden) posts and messages. Every content vanishes atmidnight in your timezone, giving everyone a fresh start every day.
The idea is simple: What would you post if you knew it disappeared tonight?
We already have 100+ users testing it, with groups, DMs, scheduled posts and AI personalities included.
It is currently available as a web app and works on iPhone and Android as it can be installed directly from the browser like an app.
