A free, offline command-line tool that checks transaction logs for a specific silent failure: a transaction recorded as complete while the account balance never actually changed, with nothing flagging it. Runs entirely on your machine, no data leaves your computer. Built as part of CIF (Chronological Input Failure), a framework for chronological integrity in payment systems. Tested honestly on real PaySim data, including two dataset quirks I had to catch and fix before trusting the results.
Built this to make CIF's core check something anyone can run themselves, no data ever has to leave your machine. What inspired it: I kept finding I couldn't get access to real transaction logs to test my framework on, since companies (understandably) don't hand data to strangers. So instead of asking for their data, I built something that lets them check it themselves. Would genuinely love feedback, especially if it breaks or behaves oddly on your data, that's just as useful to me as it working correctly.
