ChronoNav is a lightweight timeline for people who use Gemini for long conversations. Jump back to any previous message with one click instead of endless scrolling or asking the same question again. It also includes an optional Time Context feature that adds your local time and UTC offset to prompts, helping Gemini understand references like "earlier today". Everything stays local: no account, analytics, or external server.

I built ChronoNav because I kept getting lost in my own Gemini conversations.
When a chat gets really long, I usually know the answer I need is somewhere in there — but finding it again means endless scrolling, guessing keywords, or sometimes just asking the same thing again.
I didn’t need another AI tool that summarizes my chats. I just wanted a simple way to get back to that one message I knew was there.
So I made ChronoNav: a small Chrome extension that adds a clickable timeline beside Gemini conversations. Click a point, jump back to that message.
It also has an optional Time Context setting (off by default), which adds your local timestamp and UTC offset when you want Gemini to understand things like “earlier today”.
It’s a tiny local-first tool: no account, no analytics, no external server.
