Most people learn Chinese the hard way: they memorize words in apps, then find out months later that nobody understands them. The tones are off, and the sentences are word-by-word translations from their own language.
I think there's a better order:
1. Sounds first. Chinese is a tonal language. If you get initials, finals and the four tones wrong at the start, every word you learn after that inherits the mistake. ChinesePath starts with a phonetics track. You listen to recorded models, record yourself, and get feedback on your pronunciation right away.
2. Then grammar, taught as a system. Chinese grammar isn't hard, but it's different: word order, measure words, 了, 把 sentences, complements. A grammar track walks through these step by step, with example sentences you can play, read in pinyin and understand in your own language.
3. Review what you got wrong. Mistakes you make in exercises come back on a spaced schedule (1 / 3 / 7 / 21 days) until you truly get them right.
