Chinese Oracle
Discover and trace 3,000-year-old Chinese Oracle Bone Script
Explore the world's oldest Chinese writing system with an interactive oracle bone script dictionary, tracing practice, and character evolution.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm an independent developer from China.
I've always been fascinated by Oracle Bone Script—the earliest known form of Chinese writing, carved on turtle shells and animal bones over 3,000 years ago.
Most people have never seen these characters before, and existing resources are often difficult to use, scattered across academic websites, or only available in Chinese.
So I built Chinese Oracle to make this ancient writing system accessible to everyone.
With the app you can:
📚 Explore thousands of oracle bone characters
✍️ Practice tracing them
🔍 Understand how each character evolved
🌏 Learn in multiple languages
📱 Use it offline
Whether you're studying Chinese, interested in history, or simply curious about ancient civilizations, I hope you'll enjoy exploring the origins of Chinese writing.
I'd love to hear your feedback and feature requests!
Thank you for checking it out ❤️

Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
