chess4box
Four-player chess in your browser. One link, no signup.
Create a game, send one link. The first four people who open it play on a 14×14 cross-shaped board — everyone after that watches live. No accounts, nothing to install, free. Two languages, dark mode, works on phones
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I always wanted to build this game physically — a real 14×14 board for four players, sitting on a table. I never got around to it. So I'm making up for it in the browser instead.
chess4box is four-player chess. No login, no signup, free. You create a game and send one link — the first four people who open it take the seats. Everyone after that joins as a spectator and follows the game live.
One thing worth knowing: the game doesn't babysit your king. You can leave it in check, or walk it into danger — and if someone takes it, you're out. That's deliberate; four-player chess is messy by nature.
That's it. Simple.
Have fun ;-)

Who hunted chess4box?
chess4box was hunted by Marcin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
