Cheesedrop: Gift Murals

Turn group drawings into custom keepsakes.

Cheesedrop turns the headache of organizing group gifts for teachers, coaches, grandparents, and birthdays into a collaborative gift mural. The organizer picks a shape and shares a link, where everyone draws a patch blindly with zero apps or signups. When the last piece lands, the mural unlocks as a high-res file, a wooden-rail poster, or a framed fine art keepsake.

Hi Product Hunt!

Last year I watched my daughter and her friends spend an entire week drawing nothing but poops with googly eyes. Completely absorbed. That stuck with me.

Then there’s the teacher gift email, which goes out every year. Twenty-six families, one group chat, three weeks of logistics, and in the end everyone chips in for a gift card. It’s fine. Nobody remembers it.

So I built gift murals. The organizer picks a shape and sends one link to the group chat. Each kid opens it on whatever they have, taps an open piece, and draws. They can’t see anyone else’s piece while they work.

When the last piece lands, the host triggers the reveal and the whole picture appears at once, on everyone’s screen. Nobody has seen it before. Including the person who organized it.

$10 for the file. Prints from $57 if you want it on a wall.

If you’ve got a teacher, a coach or a birthday coming up, the first 25 files are free with PHFIRST25.

The hard part was cutting an arbitrary silhouette into N fair, compact pieces that still look like something once an “I can’t draw” kid draws inside them. I’ve rewritten that more times than I’d like to admit.

There’s a second product too (a nightly drawing room for kids), but that one’s in a small closed beta. Murals are live today.

Question here: What shape should I build next? A flying crane, a monstera leaf? Someone nominated a bunny and it’s being built now.
