Hi Product Hunt, I built Checkers because most mobile versions help you move pieces, then leave you alone with the result. I wanted the game to explain the decision that changed the position. The Coach is the part I care about most. In a game against the computer, it compares each move with the engine's strongest choice and grades it as Best, Good, Inaccuracy, Mistake or Blunder. When it spots a concrete problem, it tells you what happened: you left a piece hanging, skipped a bigger capture or walked past a promotion. Recoverable blunders get a Retry button so you can fix the idea while the board is still in front of you. I would love feedback on one thing: play a game with Coach and tell me whether the feedback arrives at the right moment. Does it teach without interrupting the game? The rest of the app includes: - American, International 10×10, Russian and Turkish rules - Quick Match, Ranked and private online rooms - eight bots from 800 to 2200 - 100 puzzle levels, a daily puzzle and 10 live-board lessons - Pass and Play, replay, ratings and board customization A few honest limits: Coach currently works in computer games, the online community is young, and the app requires iOS 17 or later. There is no Android or web version. The game is free, with no ads or cross-app tracking. Hints, take-backs and Coach are optional purchases. If the launch offer below is live, every visitor can use it whether or not they vote. I built the engine and app natively in SwiftUI. It is a 7 MB download. I will be here throughout the day and I read every piece of feedback. Petros

Who hunted Checkers?
Checkers was hunted by Petros Tepoyan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
