As a designer, one of the things I need to do is reading through long, dense documents for research. When LLMs came to be I was relieved, but they didn't do well on long PDFs and links as well...
I came across Microsoft's MarkItDown repo, which handles the conversion well, but it took me a while to figure out how to actually use it. That's when it hit me: if I was struggling with it, a lot of others probably were too.
So I built Chat Ready: a simple, user-friendly way to turn any document or link into clean Markdown, so your LLM actually understands it and uses fewer tokens doing it.
