Hey everyone, I’m Iqbal, an Indie hacker building Chartin :-) Carousels can get good engagement on LinkedIn, so I started exploring tools to turn engineering articles into slides. But the general-purpose AI tools I tried often missed the technical context and flow. The slides looked fine individually, but reading them together, it was difficult to follow how the system worked or why a particular engineering decision was made. You could read every slide and still wonder how the system worked or why the team made a particular decision. So I started building Chartin. You paste an engineering article URL, and it creates a seven-slide carousel with diagrams and explanations made for developers. The goal is to help readers follow the problem, understand the solution and see the important trade-offs. You can see some examples here: https://chartin.co/examples I’m especially interested in feedback from developers, DevRel folks and teams creating technical content. The output still needs review before publishing, and I’d love to know where the explanations or diagrams could be clearer. If you try it with an article you know well, what would you change about the result?
