Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Channel Timeline Viewer because I kept running into the same problem: I would find a great YouTube channel with years of useful videos, but it was surprisingly difficult to start from the beginning and keep track of what I had already watched.
YouTube is great for discovering videos, but I wanted something that made it easier to stay with one channel and work through its videos in order.
That became Channel Timeline Viewer. It lets you sort a channel from oldest to newest, track watched videos and progress, resume from where you left off, and keep notes as you go.
As I kept building it, I realized it could be useful for more than just viewers.
For YouTube creators, it gives viewers an easier way to keep watching their channel instead of treating every video as a one-off view. It can help turn years of past videos into something people can actually follow from beginning to end.
It can also be useful for families with young children. When you want them to stay within a channel you have chosen, CTV makes it easier to continue watching videos from that channel without constantly jumping around to unrelated channels.
CTV is now available on both iPhone and Android and has passed 10,000 installs.
I’m still improving it, and I’d especially love feedback from YouTube creators, parents, and people who use YouTube for learning, tutorials, lectures, or long-running series.
