ChangeVerdict
Catch scope creep before it becomes unpaid work
ChangeVerdict catches scope creep before it becomes unpaid work. It analyzes client requests against the governing SOW, breaks them into individual scope items, shows what’s in or out with contract evidence, estimates extra effort and value, and turns approved changes into professional Change Orders. Built for agencies, consultants, software teams, and professional services firms that want to protect margin without slowing delivery.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
ChangeVerdict started from a very simple frustration: spending far too much time reading through Statements of Work trying to find the exact clause that matched a new client request.
The problem was never just finding the wording. It was figuring out, quickly and confidently, whether the client had already paid for what they were asking for — or whether the request was actually additional scope.
That usually meant opening the SOW, searching through pages of scope, exclusions, assumptions and change-control language, then trying to piece together an answer before the delivery team had already started doing the work.
So we built ChangeVerdict to make that process much simpler.
You give it the governing agreement and the client request. ChangeVerdict breaks the request into individual scope items, checks them against the contract, shows what appears to be in or out of scope, explains the contract evidence behind the decision, estimates the additional effort, and can turn approved extra work into a formal Change Order.
The product has evolved from “help me find the right clause” into something closer to a commercial guardrail for project-based businesses.
The question we wanted ChangeVerdict to answer is still the same one that started the whole thing:
“Did the client already pay for this?”
I’d really love feedback from people working in software, consulting, agencies, professional services, construction, engineering, or anywhere else where scope creep quietly eats into margin.
