Our founders, Emre Baran and Charith Ellawala, experienced first-hand the challenges developers face when implementing and managing authorization code in their previous roles at companies like Google, Elastic, and CGI. They founded Cerbos in 2021 with a mission to make authorization simpler and more manageable, so developers can focus on building their core products and driving business value.
