Animation Unbaking, it is a tool that simplifies the process of turning any baked animation into an editable one. Should it be motion capture data, assets or generated animation, it will automatically determine the keyframes and choose the best interpolation.

Hello Product Hunt community! 🎉 I’m Eugene Dyabin, co-founder of Cascadeur. I've always lacked the ability to edit baked animations. For example, if I have a mocap or downloaded an asset from Mixamo, I don't have an easy way to fix something in the animation or change it That is why we added our new feature Animation Unbaking. It turns any baked animation, where each frame is a keyframe, into an editable one, automatically selecting the keyframes and interpolation intervals with the desired precision. Also we introduce: New AutoPhysics now allows the character to interact with the environment. You can animate parkour tricks, bounce off the walls, climb the stairs and even interact with moving objects All the AutoPhysics settings are now controlled with only 4 sliders. Copy/Paste Retargeting works for any humanoid characters of different proportions regardless of their skeletal structure So once imported an asset or mocap animation to Cascadeur, you can retarget it to your character, use Animation Unbaking to turn it into a set of keyframes, which in turn will allow you to edit the poses, change the timing, improve physics.
