Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m Eugene, the solo founder of Career Flair.
Why I built it: After loosing my job I was applying to multiple jobs and almost always was getting automatic rejections. Most AI resume tools, ChatGPT included, will happily invent achievements or inflate numbers. That looks great on paper until an interviewer asks you about it.
So Career Flair works differently:
🔍 Free ATS score, no signup. Paste a job, upload your CV, and see how well they match.
✍️ Tailoring with nothing made up. It rewrites your CV for the job using only what’s already in it, and shows every change word by word before you download.
📄 What the ATS sees. Find out whether your PDF is readable at all. Scanned PDFs work too.
💬 Cover letters and interview prep for the same job, including mock interviews grounded in your actual CV.
🔗 LinkedIn profile check from your LinkedIn PDF export.
📋 Job tracker, which you can also use from AI assistants that support MCP connectors, like Claude. Ask “which applications are waiting on a reply?”, pull up the CV you sent to a company, or update a status.
Pricing: the Free plan includes 3 tailored CVs and 3 coaching sessions a month. Pro is $15/month, and Coach+ (unlimited coaching) is $29/month.
What’s not there yet: there’s no Chrome extension and it’s English only, both on the roadmap.
