CareCompanion

Finally, one place your whole care team can trust

Most care apps are built for individuals. CareCompanion is built for a team. It's a daily care app for families of children with complex medical needs — medications, routines, recipes, and health event tracking, all in one place. The difference is the Care Circle. Invite every co-caregiver and assign per-feature permissions. Update once, everyone sees it instantly. No more hour-long handovers. No more information living only in one person's head.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a parent and a builder. But the real expert in our house is my wife. Our child has complex medical needs — multiple daily medications, a strict dietary routine, health events we track carefully, and a team of personal assistants who rotate in and out of our home. My wife is the one who holds it all together. She knows every medication name, every dose, every timing, every trigger. She's the one who sits down with every new assistant and goes through everything from scratch — an hour each time, sometimes more. She's the one who gets the call when something is missed. She's the one who rewrites the same information on a new piece of paper when the old one gets lost. One evening I watched her do another handover — patient, thorough, exhausted — and I thought: I'm a builder. I should be able to help with this. So I built CareCompanion. It's a daily care app for parents and caretakers of children with complex needs. Everything my wife used to carry in her head now lives in one place — medication routines with reminders, AI-assisted dietary recipes (we follow a ketogenic diet), health event tracking with triggers and severity, and a Care Circle where she can invite each assistant and give them exactly the right level of access. The feature I'm most proud of: a new assistant can open the app on their first day and know exactly what to do. My wife updates a medication once — everyone sees it. No more hour-long handovers. No more pieces of paper on the fridge. She's still the expert. But now the information lives somewhere other than just her. What I'd love from the PH community today: — If you know a parent or caretaker managing complex care, share this with them — Tell me what's missing — we built this for our family but every child's needs are different — Any feedback on the onboarding, pricing, or UX is genuinely welcome This one is personal. Thank you for being here on launch day. 🧡
