Hey everyone! 👋
I'm Mike, a solo developer, and I built CardUpkeep after discussion and collaboration with my favourite local store (now my first customer). They would spend hours every week manually re-pricing Magic and Pokémon singles in their store.
The problem: card prices move daily, but most small TCG stores either price by hand or rely on tools that only cover one game, bill in USD, or bolt on automated pricing as a separate paid module.
What CardUpkeep does:
• Automated daily pricing for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Riftbound
• Multi-game inventory management in one place
• Shopify sync, so your storefront stays current automatically
• A free public storefront for every store (even the free tier) — customers can browse and buy without needing their own Shopify setup
• CSV/XLSX import-export, so switching in (or out) is never a hostage situation
• Flat, all-inclusive pricing (volume-limited by tier) in CAD, from a free tier up to a $9.99/mo collector plan and store plans that scale with volume
I'm building this with support from my favourite store. They have been using it in production for a few months now while I keep shipping improvements.
Riftbound support is something I'm especially glad to have in early — it's a newer game and most of the bigger players in this space don't cover it yet.
