The idea came from a frustration I kept running into at work. Every time someone had a birthday or was leaving the team, we'd scramble to collect signatures — emailing people, chasing them down on Slack, someone always missing the deadline. The result was either a last-minute generic card or an awkward "we forgot."
So I built Cardora. You create a card, share one link, and everyone adds their message, photo, or GIF at their own pace. No sign-up required for contributors. You can send it instantly or schedule it to arrive at the perfect moment — midnight on their birthday, right as they walk out the door on their last day.
It works for teams of 5 and teams of 500. We've had people use it for birthdays, farewells, weddings, new babies, work anniversaries, and a lot of "just because" moments too.
