Hey Product Hunt, I’m Talha, a mobile developer building Cardex. I made Cardex because checking Pokémon card values is still slower than it should be. You often have to search the card name, figure out the exact set and variant, then compare prices across different marketplaces. Cardex lets you scan a Pokémon card with your camera, identify the exact card, and see live prices from eBay, TCGplayer and Cardmarket. You can also track your collection value, organize binders, build watchlists, and follow master set progress. I’d love feedback from collectors, TCG players, and anyone who buys or sells cards. I’m especially curious what you think about the scanner flow, pricing view, and collection tracking. Thanks for checking it out.

Who hunted Cardex?

Cardex was hunted by Talha Yavçın. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
