carcode
Talk to Claude Code from your car, with Siri and CarPlay
Say "Hey Siri, Jarvis" and Claude Code on your Mac checks PRs, CI, Slack and email, or makes a small fix as a draft PR, while CarPlay reads the answer aloud. No app, no API key. It asks before sending or merging anything. Free and open source.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Harsh, a product engineer at Modelia.
I spend a lot of time driving, and I kept thinking of things I wanted Claude Code to check while I drove. So one weekend I built carcode.
You say "Hey Siri, Jarvis" and ask about your pull requests, CI, Slack or inbox, or ask for a small code change. Claude Code does the work on your Mac and CarPlay reads the answer back.
A few things I had to solve along the way:
• Siri cuts you off at the first pause, so carcode notices half-sentences and says "Go on"
• Siri gives up after about 10 seconds, so long jobs say "One moment" and finish in the background
• Nothing is sent, merged or posted until you say "confirm"
It uses the Claude Code you're already logged in to (no API key) and installs with one command: npx carcode-cli. You can try it without a car: npx carcode-cli talk
I'd love to hear what you'd ask your codebase on the drive.

Who hunted carcode?
carcode was hunted by Harsh Rastogi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
