Capture Library

Background window recording and auto screenshots for Windows

Capture Library is a Windows app for recording a selected window in the background while you keep working on the same PC. It also supports automatic screenshots at custom intervals, audio recording, and a local media library for screenshots, videos, and WAV files. Unlike basic screenshot tools, it is built for online classes, meetings, research, and work sessions you may want to review later. All files are saved locally on your PC.

Top comment

Hi everyone, I built Capture Library because I often wanted to keep a record of online classes, meetings, and work sessions without interrupting what I was doing on the same PC. The main idea is simple: choose a specific window to record, keep working elsewhere, and review everything later from one local library. I also added automatic screenshots at set intervals because sometimes a full recording is too much, but periodic visual notes are perfect. Capture Library saves screenshots, videos, and audio locally on your Windows PC. I’d love feedback from students, remote workers, teachers, researchers, and anyone who regularly reviews meetings or screen-based work.
