Capture
Save anything in a second. Find it on every device.
Capture is one place for the things you'd normally screenshot, leave open in a tab, or text to yourself. Paste, drop or share a link, note, photo, file, address, song or bit of code, and it's saved in a second. Capture recognises what it is: links get a preview, addresses open on a map, songs show their cover art. Everything syncs across iPhone, iPad, Mac (with a drop zone in the menu bar) and the web. It works offline, and a new device signs in by scanning a QR code.

Hi 👋 I'm Swastik, and I built Capture. It started with a habit I couldn't shake: texting things to myself. A link I wanted on my laptop, an address for later, a photo of a receipt, a snippet of code. My "notes to self" chat was a mess and I could never find anything in it. Capture is my fix. You throw something in and it takes a second: paste it, drop it on the Mac menu bar, or share to it from any app. Capture works out what it is, so a link comes back with its preview, an address opens on a map, a song shows its cover art, and code stays readable. Then it's simply there on your other devices. A few things I cared about: • Saving works offline and uploads by itself later • Signing in on a new device is a QR scan, no password to type • You can sign a forgotten laptop out from your phone • Search finds things, so you don't have to remember where you put them It's on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web, and installs on Android from the browser. It's still in beta, and early members get a Founding Member card. I'd love to know: what do you text to yourself most, and what would make you stop? I'll be here all day answering.

Who hunted Capture?
Capture was hunted by Swastik patil. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
