Who hunted Cans?
Cans was hunted by Jaime Iniesta. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. As a guitar player, I practice a lot using headphones (cans) at home.
I plug my electric guitar into the pedalboard and play over backing tracks from YouTube. I wanted an easy way to control the volume of the tracks, and also wanted to equalize the sound (powering up the bass and lowering the mids), so I could hear my own guitar playing better.
And another thing, I wanted to easily pan the stereo to the left or right, again to be able to listen my own playing on top of the backing track.
So I made this Chrome extension! And then I released it, for free, so more players out there can use it. Enjoy!
