CamDesk by Secutel
Turn any PC into an ONVIF camera to monitor POS & desks
CamDesk transforme n'importe quel PC en caméra de surveillance ONVIF : supervisez postes, caisses, opérateurs et l'usage des PC des enfants. Par Secutel Surveillance.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Elmehdi, founder of Secutel Surveillance and AquaSmart.
Having worked in IP video surveillance and security systems for years, I noticed a recurring blind spot for business owners and parents: traditional CCTV cameras watch the room, but they can't clearly see what happens on the screen at a Point of Sale (POS) terminal, an operator workstation, or a family computer.
That’s why we built CamDesk (https://camdesk.aquasmart.ma).
🛠️ What makes CamDesk different?
Instead of forcing you to install another complex cloud dashboard, CamDesk turns any PC into a standard ONVIF security camera:
Direct NVR Integration: Add any PC screen + webcam directly to your existing NVR/DVR or VMS (Hikvision, Dahua, UNV, Synology, etc.).
POS & Cash Register Auditing: Prevent fraud and errors by recording the cashier's screen right alongside your physical security cameras.
Workstation & Parental Monitoring: Keep an eye on sensitive operator terminals or protect kids' PC usage effortlessly.
We’d love to hear your feedback and answer any technical questions about our ONVIF implementation! 🚀
