We turn your favourite cafes into proper remote work spots — with full transparency on wifi, plugs, vibe, and whether you're actually welcome. Walk in knowing what to expect. Work alongside others. Pay after. No membership, no awkwardness. We're here for community within cafes and remote work.

Hey friends! I'm Tim, one of the two founders behind Cafework 👋 The origin is embarrassingly relatable: my co-founder and I live in different cities. We'd meet halfway, find a café, order coffees, and try to work. Sounds great. But we kept ending up in this awkward loop — ordering another coffee we didn't want, a pastry to justify the table, catching that look from the barista. The guilt took the joy out of the cafés we loved. So we built the thing we wished existed. Cafe owners opt in and earn fairly from their space. Remote workers get full transparency — wifi, plugs, vibe — and pay after their session. No membership, no awkwardness. Everyone feels good about it. Launched in the Netherlands some days ago. On the first day we got 380 cafes, 172 users and 12 cities. Our community submitted new spots on day one. Owners reached out to join. Didn't expect either. Would love your feedback and opinions! Coffee on us! :)

Who hunted CafeWork?

CafeWork was hunted by Tim Beeren. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
