I'm zhisan, solo developer behind ByteJSON.
Why I built this:
After years as a developer, I was frustrated by online tool sites:
1. **Privacy concerns** - Most tools send your JSON/configs to servers. Not ideal when debugging API keys or sensitive data.
2. **Registration walls** - Why do I need an account just to format some JSON?
3. **Ad overload** - Popups everywhere, tools barely usable.
So I built ByteJSON differently:
- Everything runs in YOUR browser (client-side JavaScript)
- Zero registration required
- Clean interface, minimal ads
- Works offline once loaded
- Tools + tutorials included
Tools I personally use daily:
- JSON Formatter (for API debugging)
- UUID v7 Generator (new time-ordered standard)
- Regex Explainer (finally understand complex patterns!)
