BuzzBuzz is a playful step counter and social walking app. Track daily steps, join a hive of friends, share one photo a day, and play weekly Color Hunt challenges. Free for iOS and Android.
For years I was exactly like most people: download a step counter, use it for a few days, then forget it even existed. The numbers kept going up, but they felt completely meaningless.
Then I started casually competing with my wife on steps. Let’s just say one of us is very competitive… and the other is very bad at losing 😅. Suddenly, walking became a lot more fun.
Around the same time, my father-in-law got a doctor’s note telling him he needed to move more. Watching him push for 10k steps every day and actually feel better inspired me. Meanwhile, so many of my younger friends are completely burned out from endless scrolling and stress. I kept thinking, there has to be a better, happier way to get people moving.
So I built BuzzBuzz. It turns your daily steps into a tiny, cozy adventure. Every step powers your bee. Walk more and your bee stays happy, energetic, and ready to explore. Walk less… and yeah, you’ll notice the difference (in a funny way).

My goal wasn’t to build another fitness app. I wanted to create something playful and motivating enough to actually make you want to go for a walk.
