I built ButterShare because sending a large file still feels way more complicated than it should.
Most tools either make you create an account, upload everything to the cloud, install an app, or hit a file-size limit.
I wanted something simpler:
Pick a file → get a shareable link → send it → the other person downloads it.
That’s it.
No signup.
No app.
No cloud storage in the middle.
No artificial file-size limit.
The goal is to make sharing files between different devices feel as simple as sending a link.
ButterShare is still early, so I’d really appreciate feedback on the transfer experience, speed, browser compatibility, and anything that feels confusing or broken.
