Bus Scope

USB diagnostics without a hardware analyzer

A local USB diagnostics workbench for live capture, descriptor evidence, class decoding, sessions, and reports.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt, I built Bus Scope for the boring but expensive part of USB debugging: proving what the device actually did on the bus. It is a local desktop USB diagnostics workbench for Linux usbmon and Windows USBPcap workflows. Instead of starting from a generic capture table, Bus Scope keeps the device, endpoint, transfer type, setup packet, descriptor evidence, and decoded context close together. The product is intentionally USB-only. It is not trying to be a universal protocol analyzer or a hardware analyzer replacement for every lab case. The goal is to give firmware engineers, device vendors, and support teams a repeatable local workflow with saved sessions and handoff-ready evidence. There is a free edition and a $19 lifetime professional license. I would love feedback from people who have debugged enumeration, descriptor, HID, CDC, mass storage, or UVC issues.
