I built Bulk Image Download because every existing option wanted more access
than the job deserved — extensions asking for read-all-sites permissions, or
"downloaders" that wanted an install. So it's just a page you paste into.
Paste one URL (or a few, one per line) → it parses the HTML for img, srcset,
picture, lazy-load attributes and CSS background-images → you get a scrollable
thumbnail grid → deselect the icons and tracking pixels → one ZIP.
Three decisions worth calling out:
- The parser tells you what broke. When a fetch or extract fails, the warning
banner names the failed step (validate / fetch / parse / extract) instead of
handing you an empty list.
- Packing is server-side, on purpose. Many CDNs block cross-origin previews for
hotlink protection. Packing with the page Referer means those files usually
still come down — thumbnails flagged "CORS blocked" often work.
- The 12 file extractors run in your browser. Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint,
EPUB, CBZ and more — your documents aren't uploaded for storage. The
extraction engine behind them is open source:

Honest limits, so your first run isn't a bad one:
• Public HTML pages only — JS-only galleries and login walls return fewer
images than you see live.
• Up to 5,000 images per URL parse; free ZIPs cap at 150 images or 200 MB.
• Public ≠ free to reuse. It's a tool for your own or licensed material.
