I’m a spreadsheet junkie, and it drove me nuts that every month I had to log into each bank, download a CSV, and manually import it into my spreadsheet — assuming the bank even offered CSVs.
Plaid was the key.
Now my transactions flow into my spreadsheet automatically every day. No manual downloads. No importing. And most importantly, my data isn’t being collected by some budgeting app that wants to analyze it or sell it.
It’s your banking data. You should be able to use it however you want.
So I priced Budget Time just above break-even on the Plaid fees. The goal isn’t to lock your data behind another expensive subscription — it’s to give everyone simple, automatic access to their own financial data.
That’s really why I built it.
