Browser Cookie Bridge
Move browser cookies and sessions locally on macOS
Browser Cookie Bridge is a native macOS utility that transfers cookies and signed-in sessions between supported Chromium browsers and ChatGPT Codex. Choose a source and destination, sync manually or at login, and keep it running quietly in the background. Everything stays on your Mac. Supports Brave, Chrome, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera, and Comet, with clear guidance when an app must be closed before syncing.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Browser Cookie Bridge after switching from Chrome to Brave and discovering that ChatGPT Codex’s browser import flow didn’t support Brave. I wanted a small Mac utility that could move the session data I needed without uploading it anywhere.
The result is a native, menu-bar-friendly app that transfers cookies and sessions locally between supported Chromium browsers and Codex, with manual, login, and scheduled sync controls. It also tells you when an app needs to be closed instead of silently failing.
This is an early open-source release. I’d especially value feedback about which browser pairs you use, sites that don’t transfer cleanly, and which safety controls you want next. Thanks for checking it out! 🍪
