A water sort puzzle where every jar is a different size
Brimful is a water sort puzzle with one change: every jar is a different size, from two to six measures. Pour the top colour onto the same colour or into an empty jar. A small jar will not take a big pour, so you plan space as well as colour. Clear the board when every jar is empty or full to the brim with one colour. Levels start with three colours and climb to eight. No timer, no lives, unlimited undo. Every level is built from a solved board, so it can always be finished.
Hi Product Hunt, this is Brimful, from Teamz Lab.
In most water sort puzzles every tube holds the same amount, so once you can see the colours the pouring is just bookkeeping. We changed one rule: every jar is a different size. A small jar will not take a big pour, so you plan space as well as colour.
What is in it:
- Jars from two to six measures. Each colour has exactly enough liquid to fill one jar of its own size.
- Tap a jar, then tap where to pour: onto the same colour or into an empty jar. A jar never overflows.
- Three colours on level 1, eight colours by level 6.
- No timer, no lives, unlimited undo.
- Every level starts from a solved board that was scrambled with legal pours, so it can always be finished.
What it is not: it is not a ball sort game, and there is no clock to beat. You can still pour yourself into a corner. The game tells you when no moves are left, and Undo takes you back.
It is on iPhone and Android, free to play and supported by ads (an ad after some level wins). There is also a browser version at tool.teamzlab.com/games/brimful/.
