BriefGate
Your agent asks the client for assets. And chases them.
Claude Code builds the site in an afternoon, then waits two weeks for a logo. BriefGate lets the agent request client assets over MCP: the client gets a link (no account), uploads and fills in, and missing items are chased automatically. Free tier included.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I build websites and apps with Claude Code. The building part got fast; the waiting didn't. A project that takes an afternoon to build then sits for two weeks because the client still has to send the logo, the copy, the hosting login. Meanwhile I write reminder e-mails and dig through attachments.
BriefGate is my fix for that gap.
How it works:
1. The agent (Claude Code, claude.ai, Cursor, anything that speaks MCP) defines what it needs from the client: files, texts, choices, credentials, structured data like opening hours.
2. The client gets a link to a simple portal. No account, no sign-up. Upload, fill in, done. Progress autosaves, so they can come back later.
3. Whatever is still missing gets a polite reminder on a schedule. You get notified when it's complete, and the agent pulls the assets and keeps working.
A few things I cared about:
- Credentials are encrypted the moment the client enters them and released to the developer exactly once.
- Items the client won't have can be waived; internal tasks that are on you, not the client, live alongside them and are never chased.
- Your agent gets nine MCP tools and a hosted endpoint with OAuth, or a local package with device login. Setup is one command.
- No analytics, no pixels, no tracking on the site. Plain privacy notice.
Honest state: it launched this week. The free tier is enough to run real intakes; Solo and Agency add volume, custom sending domain and branding. I'm looking for freelancers and small agencies who know this waiting game and will tell me what's missing.

Who hunted BriefGate?
BriefGate was hunted by Radim Sekera. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
