brew-browser

The Homebrew GUI Mac users have been waiting for.

Homebrew has 13,000+ packages and zero great GUIs. brew-browser is a real native macOS app (Tauri 2 + Svelte 5, not Electron) that makes the whole catalog browsable, installable, and beautiful. Pre-baked AI-generated descriptions and categories for every package, magic search that understands "video player" → VLC.Offline-first, MIT-licensed, zero telemetry, zero accounts.

Hello! brew-browser is the dashboard I wanted: a glance at every installed package, what's outdated, what's eating disk, the rough shape of my library by category. Plus all the verbs I already use, like install, uninstall, upgrade, services, Brewfile snapshot, without leaving the app. Live brew output streams into a drawer so nothing is hidden. This is what 30 years of writing software + Claude Code (Opus 4.7, 1M context) in the terminal + Agency Agents (you know, the open-source multi-agent framework I built a while back :) ) look like when they line up. Hope you love it!
