Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m a program/product manager and DJ who spent over a decade using other people's software. After hitting a wall of burnout, I realized our calendars have become bullies. Most productivity apps focus on squeezing in one more task. I wanted to build something that forces you to stop.
I built BreakMode to solve this. It connects directly to Apple Calendar and Google Calendar and uses smart logic to automatically schedule, move, and shield customizable rest breaks around your meetings and events.
Our core features are built for real-world life:
- **Dynamic Rescheduling:** If a last-minute meeting lands on your slot, the app silently reschedules your break.
- **Active Conflict UI:** If you're completely booked out, it chokes annoying alerts and drops an action card on your Today screen. You can manually slide the break, bypass daily caps, or cancel while logging the data.
- **Asynchronous Sync:** If you delete a break inside your calendar app, BreakMode purges the internal lock and silences local alerts.
