Hello, I’m Erling, founder of BrandScout.
I built BrandScout because I was tired of making decisions with an incomplete market picture. I wanted a faster way to understand competitors and decide where to focus.
Since our first launch, we’ve made the competitor database much more useful.
You can now define what you want to know through custom properties. Choose the competitors you want to research, and BrandScout proposes answers with sources and reasoning. You review each suggestion before accepting it.
Want to compare the markets your rivals serve? Add it as a property and research selected competitors.
We’ve also added deeper competitor records, bringing details, notes, Signals and battlecards together. Signals deliver weekly updates from the competitor websites you choose to monitor.
We’re building an early decision layer through Mission Briefing and Decision Readiness. It starts with your goals, options and constraints. Then it assesses the evidence and uncertainty around your decision. This is still early, and we’d love your feedback as we develop it.
The whole experience also has a clearer interface and a refreshed identity.
