BrainOS Website
Fork it, run it locally — your own AI agent workforce
Brain OS is an open-source AI workforce — 19+ specialist agents and a 17-step pipeline that turn your company's scattered knowledge into documented, versioned truth. Fork it on GitHub, run it locally, extend it in your private repo. Local-first. Yours.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Rushabh, founder of Machinecraft. Brain OS is the public, forkable version of the operator stack we run internally to keep our own company's knowledge from walking out the door.
The problem we kept hitting: institutional knowledge lives in inboxes, CRMs, docs, and people's heads. When someone leaves, it leaves with them. So we built a system of 19+ specialist agents — each named after a god, each owning exactly one job — wired together through shared memory and a 17-step pipeline that takes raw input all the way to a verified action.
A few things that make it different:
• Fork-first & local-first — clone it from GitHub, run it on your own machine, extend it in your private repo. Your data never has to leave.
• Draft-first email — agents draft, a human always approves before anything sends.
• Dream mode — at night the system reviews its own work and improves.
• Multi-model routing — cheap models for known questions, expensive ones only for genuinely new ones. Costs drop ~28% over six months as it learns your patterns.
The Community tier is free and open-source under BSL. I'd love your honest feedback — especially on the agent architecture and what you'd want your 20th agent to do.
What would you fork first? 🧠
