Brainfool
One puzzle a day. Then it tells you to leave.
Brainfool is the anti-endless puzzle app. Open it, get exactly one puzzle for today, finish or quit, get a silly roast or pep talk, then come back tomorrow. It rotates Sudoku, Binary/Takuzu, Nonogram/Picross, and 7x7 Slitherlink. Offline-first. No streaks, no leaderboards, no social, no ads mid-thought. Same day, same puzzle on your device. Built for a short session, then leaving. Not another daily habit prison — a small daily ritual.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I kept bouncing between puzzle apps and hitting the same loop: endless levels, streak guilt, ads mid-solve, and “just one more” until bedtime. I didn’t want another game that tries to own my evening. I wanted a small daily ritual.
So I built Brainfool . Open it, get exactly one puzzle for today, finish or quit, get a silly roast or pep talk, then leave. It rotates Sudoku, Binary/Takuzu, Nonogram/Picross, and 7x7 Slitherlink. Offline-first. No social. No leaderboard. No account. Same day = same puzzle on your device.
The part I’m least sure about: one puzzle a day. Is that refreshing, or just annoying? And does rotating four genres feel fresh, or random? I’d rather hear “this breaks for me because…” than polite applause.
If you try it, tell me where it fails. Thanks for tearing it apart.
