Braille Dot
Free braille translator with voice, OCR & BRF features
A free browser-based braille translator that converts English to Braille and Braille to English, with Grade 1 and Grade 2 support, voice input, OCR, andbrf export.
We built BrailleTranslator to make braille translation easier to access in the browser.
We wanted a simple place where someone could translate English to Braille or Braille back to English without needing specialized software. The tool supports Grade 1 and Grade 2 braille, along with voice input, OCR, and .brf export.
BrailleDot is focused on making braille and accessible communication easier to understand, and this translator is one step toward that goal.
If you work with braille, teach it, are learning it, or use it as part of an accessibility workflow, we'd love to hear what would make the translator more useful for you.
