I'm the maker of BoxSplit. I built this tool because Amazon's Inbound Placement Service fees were eating into my FBA margins, and I couldn't find a free, simple way to calculate the optimal shipment split.
Instead of guessing whether to ship to a single destination or split across multiple fulfillment centers, I wrote a Python script that uses a bin-packing algorithm to find the mathematically cheapest way to split your shipments based on box dimensions and weight tiers.
I turned this script into a completely free, no-signup web tool so other sellers could use it too. No paywalls, no data collection, just the math to help you protect your margins.
