I'm Alexandre, the creator of Boussole Politique.
I built this project because I was frustrated by the way political debates have become increasingly polarized.
Most political tools ask people to choose a side. But when you look closely, many citizens don't fit neatly into any political camp. They often agree with some ideas from the left, others from the center, and others from the right.
Boussole Politique takes a different approach.
Instead of asking "Which party do you support?", it asks questions about your values and priorities across multiple dimensions. It then compares your profile with political parties and highlights both areas of agreement and disagreement.
One surprising finding so far: after only a few weeks and with almost no promotion, several hundred people have already completed the questionnaire through Google Search alone. This suggests there is a genuine demand for tools that help citizens think beyond political labels.
My long-term goal is not just to help people choose a party. It is to help citizens understand where they truly stand, discover unexpected common ground, and encourage a more nuanced public debate.
