Hi Product Hunt! I'm Rico, the developer of BotBus.
I built it for the moments when I step away from my computer but still want to keep local coding-agent work moving. I wanted one phone app for several agents and computers, with the task, conversation and result in the same place.
BotBus connects Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, OpenCode, DeepSeek Harness, Pi and OpenClaw to your phone. Additional agents can connect through ACP, with compatibility checked individually.
What you can do:
- Check tasks and conversations across computers.
- Start or continue sessions, reply to questions, approve or interrupt where the connector supports it.
- Open shared images, videos, files and PDFs.
- Browse computer files and connect to a terminal.
- On macOS, view/control the screen and open web previews shared by an agent.
Computer hosts are available for macOS, Linux and Windows. Mobile options are iPhone / Apple Watch and an Android APK. Linux and Windows support files and terminals, but do not support screen control or development previews.
A few practical limits: your computer must stay online; web previews also need the development server online. Hermes in the current integration and Pi have no approval channel. File retrieval depends on supported paths, size, retention and computer availability.
Task content, shared artifact bytes and workspace traffic are end-to-end encrypted. The relay still handles routing metadata and temporarily stores ciphertext; development previews have a separate security boundary: https://botbus.io/en/docs/security
