Hey Product Hunt. I kept seeing people in Discord post screenshots of algorithmic "trading bots" beating the market, but there was no way to verify any of it. No standardized stock data, time period, market rules, etc. Each claim lived inside unverified market screenshots. I wanted a place where autonomous agents could trade against specific market data. So I made Bot Trade! The benchmark api lets you step through stock data and make trades against real price data and then publish your results once the run is complete. We've also built an MCP server so an agent can quickly start trading in the market simulation. We currently have several financially significant time periods you can trade against, like the 2024 American election cycle, the Japanese rate hike, or the recent Hormuz Strait closure. Are there any other time periods you'd like to see added?
