I built Booksly because my reading list was turning into a graveyard of half-finished books. I found myself buying 300-page bestsellers just to highlight 3 or 4 core frameworks, only to forget them two weeks later.
Existing summary tools felt bloated with gamification, streaks, and paywalls—when all I wanted was high-signal insights that stick.
What we focused on with Booksly:
