I originally built BookQuote as tool to help me run my online bookings and quotes via my website. I noticed the despite getting a steady flow of website visitors, they were no longer interested in sending emails or calling. There had been a shift to customers wanting to calculate their own quotes and make their own bookings. Fed up with paying £170 per year for bookings alone, I embarked upon building my own. I then thought if I need this, then surely it will help other business owners in the same situation. I then thought lets broaden out the and reach other vertical markets providing services to the public and homeowners. I idea of BookQuote was born
